Sealant Saturday a Success!

This past Saturday, HealthLink Dental Clinic invited the children of our patients, as well as local Head Start families, to a special "Sealant Saturday" event.

With the help of local volunteers, which included Dental Hygiene students from Manor College, a representative from the PDHA, and a HealthLink volunteer dentist, eleven local children visited the clinic and received a total of 66 sealants on their teeth.

The event is held every other year at HealthLink and is coordinated locally by Bela Amado, RDH, PHDHP. Sealant Saturday is supported statewide by the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists' Association.
