HealthLink Welcomes New Major Gifts Officer

Let me Introduce Myself…

Starting a new job is always accompanied by a lot of feelings – anticipation, a little bit of anxiousness, curiosity, and most importantly excitement. There are also lots of changes to get accustomed to – a new schedule, new routine, new co-workers. It’s human nature to have it all feel a little overwhelming, but when you believe in what you are doing and you know you have made the right choice – all of the changes, the anticipation, the curiosity – it is energizing! My first week at HealthLink Dental Clinic certainly left me energized and as I start my second week, I am ready to hit the ground running.

What better way is there to hit the ground running than to introduce myself to you? My name is Jenny. Salisbury and I am so pleased to have joined the team at HealthLink as the Major Gifts Officer.

What does that mean exactly? It means that I get to spend my days helping folks like yourself, who believe in the importance of oral care and the mission of HealthLink, find ways that are meaningful to continue to support the organization and make sure that adults in both Bucks and Montgomery County have access to care that supports good oral health and leads to good overall health.

I will be spending a lot of time trying to get to know you, so it’s only fair that I tell you a little bit about myself. A native of the Boston area, I have lived in Bucks County since 2005 and currently reside in New Britain, PA. I am a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications. I have worked in the nonprofit sector for 12 years, and have had the privilege to help support the mission of A Woman’s Place, the Bucks County Playhouse, and Bucks County Community College during that time. Additionally, I am fortunate to be one of the current co-chairs of the Women in Business Committee of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. I received my Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential this past spring.

When I am not at work you can find me spending time with my family, which includes four boys between the ages of 6 and 13.

I am honored to join this team of staff and volunteers at HealthLink to make sure that our community members have access to proper dental care. I can’t wait to meet you and talk about how we can work together to continue to expand the great work of this organization – one smile at a time. If you’d like to meet for coffee or lunch and discuss how you can help support the mission of HealthLink Dental Clinic, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at jsalisbury@healthlinkdental.org or call my direct line at 267-699-0120.
