Preserve Your Teeth as You Age

Just as anything else that gets used for an extended period of time, your teeth are susceptible to wear and tear as you age. 1.) Practice Healthy Brushing Habits The first, and most obvious way to keep your teeth healthy as you age is by practicing healthy brushing habits. By keeping a healthy routine with brushing, you diminish the risks of damaging your teeth - as well as lowering your risk for gum disease. While a typical, standard tooth brush will work fine (as long as you use it correctly!), some doctors have suggested using electric brushes. Electric brushes will help you to ensure that you are brushing for the correct amount of time, as well as getting into those hard to reach places.
