February is Heart Health Month! 


Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., and there is proven connection between heart health and oral health. 


There are two proven links according to Delta Dental. 


1. Those with healthy gums are at a lower risk of developing heart disease than those who have gum disease. 


2. Your mouth and oral health can show doctors warning signs for heart disease (and other diseases as well).
