FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: HealthLink Dental Clinic Announces New Board Member, Brendan Harvie

February 13 - Hatboro, PA - HealthLink is excited to announce the most recent addition to their Board of Directors, Brendan Harvie. Brendan comes to HealthLink Dental Clinic with five years of experience working in the non-profit sector, currently working as the Manager of the Annual Fund and Alumni Engagement for Bucks County Community College.

Brendan learned about Healthlink (the only free dental clinic serving both Bucks and Montgomery Counties) at an event where he met Jenny Salisbury, Executive Director for the organization.

“Jenny and I got to talking about how important the services are to the community and how the need for free dental care is growing, and I got really excited about the idea of helping such an important mission, especially being from Bucks County myself,” said Brendan.

“Brendan is absolutely right that the need for free dental care is growing. We just completed our annual report, and there has been a 7% increase in patients served and an 8% increase in the number of appointments. We are a small team here at HealthLink, and we are really happy that Brendan has joined us on our mission to ensure everyone has access to dental care," said Board President, Rick James.

As a Communications & Public Relations graduate of George Mason University, Brendan is looking forward to assisting the team with educating the community and increasing awareness of the free clinic.

“Dental care is something many of us with insurance take for granted, but for HealthLink patients, not getting the dental care they need and deserve greatly impacts their everyday life. I will be taking my role as a board member very seriously and helping wherever I can to spread the word throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties,” said Brendan.

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Harvie join HealthLink’s Board of Directors,” said Jenny Salisbury, Executive Director of the organization. “His belief in our mission and professional skill set will be a huge help in continuing to raise awareness of what HealthLink does and bring in more patients – particularly those individuals who are students at Bucks County Community College who meet the criteria to receive free dental care from us.”

HealthLink is a free dental clinic serving uninsured, low-wage earning adults and military veterans in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. HealthLink is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported entirely by charitable contributions from the community. Our small, dedicated staff is aided by numerous professional volunteer dentists to provide the best possible care for our patients.

For those who concentrate their activity on the Solana blockchain, understanding the specific risks of SPL tokens is crucial. This page offers a specialized approach to analyzing these assets, focusing on detecting scams that are common in this ecosystem. It's a resource that can help you make more informed decisions before interacting with a new project. I found the dedicated focus to be quite relevant, so here is the link to RugChecker for anyone who wants to explore its capabilities for Solana.

Welcoming Brendan Harvie to the Board of Directors brings a wealth of strategic leadership and practical governance experience that will undoubtedly strengthen organizational planning and community outreach. While reading through leadership development perspectives and institutional governance insights over on Yaar Win, understanding how diverse board appointments drive long-term sustainability and transparent decision-making proved to be a valuable lesson in organizational growth.

The addition of fresh leadership perspectives is always a pivotal moment for mission-driven organizations looking to expand their community footprint and scale ongoing initiatives. I was checking out several professional development write-ups and committee management strategies at Shree Win that highlighted how active board engagement directly improves operational oversight and stakeholder trust.
